Sandy Spring Bank Recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best-in-State Banks

Sandy Spring Bank was recently recognized by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Best-In-State Banks in 2019. Sandy Spring Bank was ranked the number one bank in Maryland.  

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 25,000 people in the United States about their banking relationships. Consumers were asked 20 questions about their financial dealings. Banks were rated on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five subdimensions (i.e., trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice). 

Previously, Sandy Spring Bank was recognized by Forbes magazine for more than a decade as one of the 50 Most Trustworthy Financial Companies in America. Forbes no longer produces this list. 

Today Sandy Spring Bank is the largest, locally headquartered community bank in the Greater Washington region. With over 50 full-service community offices and six financial centers, the bank offers a broad range of commercial banking, retail banking, mortgage and trust services throughout central Maryland, Northern Virginia, and the Washington, D.C. market.
