Business Online Banking Mobile Enrollment

Enrolling in Sandy Spring Bank Business Mobile Banking

Once an individual has been given rights by their Business Online Banking Administrator to use the Business Mobile Service, there are two ways to enroll, Download the App, or Use the Web browser on your device. This document describes the steps of enrollment for each option.

Download the App

This is the recommended method of enrollment and for the use of Business Mobile Banking. The banking functions are completed more quickly when you use the app and the formatting of the information on the screen is better tailored for the device. In addition, mobile deposits can only be made with devices that use the app to connect to the mobile service.

The applications can be downloaded from iTunes for Apple devices and from Google Play for Android phones. We are currently working to develop an app for Android tablets. Android tablets can still access the mobile service through the device’s browser, but for now cannot be used for mobile deposits. Once the application is downloaded follow these steps to enroll:

1. On the first screen, enter your Business Online Banking User ID and Password.
2. Enter the Company ID. (Note: This is in a slightly different order than appears on your pc.)
3. Read and accept the Mobile Terms and Conditions.
4. The next step is Advanced Logon Authentication and is used to verify the identity of the person enrolling. On this screen enter the mobile number found in your User Profile in Business Online Banking. Select Continue when complete.
5. After the person’s credentials have been authenticated, on the next screen enter the phone number of the mobile device being registered. Select Activate. (The mobile number entered here does not have to be in the User Profile in Business Online Banking).
6. When enrollment is complete the Account Summary screen appears.

Use the Web Browser on the Device

If a user decides to not download the application they may access Business Online Banking by launching the browser on their device and going to the following URL, www.sandyspringbank.com. Continue logging into Business Online Banking just as you would from your pc.
