Homeownership Month Spotlight: Operation Renewed Hope Foundation

Sandy Spring Bank Donates $3,500 to Operation Renewed Hope

It’s Homeownership Month at Sandy Spring Bank and a timely opportunity to recognize some of our non-profit partners who are effecting powerful change in our communities, especially among some of our more vulnerable neighbors in need.

Operation Renewed Hope Foundation is an important organization aimed at ending veteran homelessness. They provide a range of services to help veterans break their cycle of homelessness or prevent them from becoming homeless. Some of those essential services include helping veterans secure safe, affordable and stable housing, as well as providing transportation so that they can search for and remain employed. Headquartered in Northern Virginia, this organization assists veterans across the Greater Washington, D.C. region.

Through volunteerism and leadership roles, employees from the bank have supported Operation Renewed Hope Foundation in many ways over the years. And today we are pleased to once again show our gratitude and commitment to the helping them advance their mission.
