Sandy Spring Bank Partners with Women Giving Back: Empowering Through Fashion

Sandy Spring Bank employees donating to 'Women Giving Back'

Sandy Spring Bank presented Women Giving Back (WGB) with a $10,000 donation to continue their important work supporting local women and children in crisis. A team of 20 Sandy Spring Bank employees also donated their time by sorting clothes and quality checking items at the WGB warehouse in Sterling, Virginia.

WGB was founded in 2007 to help women in shelters overcome barriers due to a lack of appropriate clothing. WGB started as a program under HomeAid Northern Virginia, operating out of a closet at the Northern Virginia’s Builder Association. Today, WGB supports more than 24,000 women and children annually by providing quality clothing at no cost.
