OLNEY, Md., July 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In a release issued under the same headline earlier today by Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:SASR), please be advised that the last sentence of the first paragraph should read "This is consistent with the dividend paid in the second quarter of 2016 and $0.02 more than the third quarter of 2015" rather than "This is consistent with the dividend paid in the third quarter of 2016 and $0.02 more than the third quarter of 2016" as originally issued.
