Steve Haney

Steve Haney has been in the mortgage industry for over 25 years. He and fellow mortgage banker Anthony Sos are managing the Annapolis outpost of the Sandy Spring Mortgage Division while originating loans for referral partners and past clients. Together, Steve and Anthony are a one-stop shop, able to help first-time buyers with down payment assistance all the way to guiding seasoned buyers to favorable pricing with portfolio jumbo loans. They can also facilitate residential mortgage loans tailored to medical professionals and construction-to-perm and extended lock programs for home builders. 

A native of Anne Arundel County and having lived in Queen Anne’s County for 10 years, Steve is a lifelong Marylander. He has been married for 29 years and has five children. Outside of work and family life, Steve enjoys karaoke and boating.
