Prior to joining Sandy Spring Trust, Mr. Wessely was a Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor in Bethesda, MD where he developed and managed tailored investment strategies for high net worth clients. He also spent more than 15 years managing multi-billion dollar institutional portfolios for foundations, endowments, and public pension plans. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from San Diego State University and has served on several non-profit investment and pension plan committees.
