A Message from Dan Schrider, President and CEO of Sandy Spring Bank

Daniel Schrider, President and CEO, Sandy Spring Bank

Small businesses are the lifeblood of our local economy. They create jobs and make critical investments in our communities. This past year, businesses have faced challenges like never before. In an effort to understand their needs and how we can support them in their efforts, Sandy Spring Bank once again partnered with the Washington Business Journal to explore the State of Small Business in Greater Washington.

The Washington Business Journal surveyed business leaders throughout our region, and this research gave us new insights on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these businesses and their outlook for what’s ahead in our economy. We also learned how adaptable these businesses are, because many have already made changes in their business models to meet today’s challenges. You will find detailed research results by downloading the eBook.

On behalf of all of us at Sandy Spring Bank, we thank the business leaders who participated in this research. Together, we will weather this storm and come out stronger than ever before.
