Use your computer to log in to www.sandyspringbank.com.
Select “Forgot Password” and enter your current access ID as your username to create a NEW password.
Reconnect your external accounts.
If you transfer funds between your Sandy Spring Bank account and an account at another financial institution, the link will not transfer. You will need to re-establish it.
Reconnect any external aggregators.
If you have linked your Sandy Spring Bank account with external aggregators (e.g., Mint, Intuit, etc.), please update your login information on those sites with your new Sandy Spring Bank username and password as necessary.
Note: Business Online Banking is not impacted by the personal online banking transition.

AnswerYou’ll be able to log in using your current personal online banking username. When you log in to the enhanced digital banking, you’ll need to create a NEW password by selecting “Forgot Password” on the red "Login to Online Banking" dropdown box.

Are there new processing cut-off times on the new digital banking platform?
AnswerYes. Personal digital banking transfers to external accounts outside of Sandy Spring Bank scheduled by 4:59 pm ET on a business day will begin processing that same day. If they’re scheduled at 5:00 pm ET or after, they will be processed the following business day.

Do I have to download a new personal online banking mobile app after the personal digital banking transition?
AnswerAfter the digital banking transition, be sure to update the Sandy Spring Bank personal digital banking mobile app to enjoy all of the new features and services. Older versions of the app won't work with your new username and password. You can access the app in the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android and manually update it any time after the upgrade is complete.

Type of Transfer
What Happens?
Scheduled transfers between Sandy Spring Bank accounts.
These transfers continued in the new personal digital banking platform.
There are a few exceptions: Transfers scheduled every two months or twice a year, or those transfers set to expire after a dollar threshold has been met will need to be set up again. For example, a $25 weekly transfer that continues until $500 has been transferred.
The new platform allows recurring transfers between Sandy Spring Bank accounts daily, weekly, every two weeks (biweekly), monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Scheduled transfers created within personal online banking to or from other banks.
After the transition to the new personal digital banking platform, you will need to reconnect external bank accounts and reschedule your future transfers to or from those accounts.
Scheduled deposits to my Sandy Spring Bank account(s) (from Social Security, a retirement account, direct deposits, etc.).
Your scheduled deposits to your Sandy Spring Bank account were not be impacted or interrupted by the transition to personal digital banking transition.
Scheduled withdrawals from my Sandy Spring Bank account(s) that were set up on company websites (for example: Verizon, Xfinity, electric company, etc.).
Your scheduled withdrawals created on company websites from your Sandy Spring Bank account will not be impacted or interrupted by the transition to the new personal digital banking platform.

AnswerYes, you are able to view at least as many eStatements as were available prior to the personal digital banking transition.

AnswerYes. Your Zelle® settings will carry over after the personal digital banking transition and there is nothing you need to do.

AnswerYes, but you will need to update your security credentials for your Sandy Spring Bank account(s) on those sites to re-establish the connection.

I connected my Sandy Spring Bank accounts to another financial institution or service. Does the connection still work after personal digital banking transition?
AnswerIf you are connected to view balances and transactions, you will have to update your connection at your other institution with your new username and password. It may take some time after the upgrade before these services recognize the new platform. If you are only connected for transfers, the transfer connection will be unaffected.
