AnswerNo, Sandy Spring Bank’s business online banking service is not affected by this refresh and will remain the same.

Does the refresh affect Sandy Spring Bank’s personal mobile banking apps?
AnswerNo, the personal online banking refresh only affects desktop (browser-based) online banking for personal users. If you use the dedicated Sandy Spring Bank mobile banking app, you will not experience any changes. If you access desktop online banking from your mobile device through your browser, you will see the new refresh starting October 24.

AnswerYes, personal online and mobile banking were unavailable from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday, October 24 for maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Do I need a new personal online banking access ID or passcode?
AnswerNo, your current personal online banking access ID and passcode will continue to work with the new version. If you have forgotten your passcode, you can reset it here. If you have forgotten your access ID, please visit your local branch for assistance. For your security, we are unable to provide access IDs over the phone.

What changed?
AnswerThe general look and feel in personal online banking is modernized and streamlined. The biggest visual differences you will notice are:
- New icons for Messaging, Alerts, Help, Contact Us, and Settings across the top of the screen.
- The Services and Settings menu is now easier to find with a new gear icon at the top of the screen.
- A new, simplified user profile menu on the top right under your name.
- The Logout button is now inside of the user profile menu.
- Credits and debits on the Accounts Detail pages are now consolidated into one column.
- My Spending and other widgets are now on the right side of the screen.
- New formats for graphs and charts.
- Minor changes to menu and tab layouts across all pages.

Are there any new features?
AnswerYes, in addition to the refreshed look and feel, in personal online banking you will now be able to:
- Mark outside accounts as favorites.
- Customize which widgets appear on your Overview page using the small pencil icon on the right side of the screen.
- Preview account details by opening the new Quickview drawer directly from the Overview page. Simply hover over the account you’re interested in and click the icon on the right to open the drawer and see additional account details without needing to go to the Account Details page.

Were any features removed?
AnswerYes, the print button was removed from most pages, but you can still print personal online banking pages using the print feature of your browser (CONTROL + P on Windows and COMMAND + P on Mac OS).
