Fees

Monthly Maintenance Fee Balance Requirement
$14 $14 monthly maintenance fee. This fee is waived in any monthly evaluation period you maintain a $10,000 combined average balance in Premier Banking, companion personal deposit products (checking, savings, money market and certificates of deposit, including IRAs) and outstanding personal installment loans or lines or credit (auto, boat, RV, personal and home equity installment loans (does not include mortgages) home equity line of credit and secured and unsecured lines of credit) or maintain a Commercial Checking account with Sandy Spring Bank or maintain an Investment or Trust account with Sandy Spring Wealth Management.  The companion deposit accounts used to meet the minimum requirements are subject to all of the terms and conditions for those types of accounts. To qualify as a companion account, all signers on the companion account must be the signers on the Premier Banking account.The monthly evaluation period is defined as the time period 3 business days prior to the beginning of the statement cycle to 3 business days prior to the ending of the statement cycle.

*A withdrawal or an order presented for payment that would overdraw an account or is drawn against unavailable funds (fee not applicable to Commercial Checking UAF items that are paid or returned).

We do not charge the Overdraft Fee on your account when we determine that your account is overdrawn by a total amount less than $5.00 after we finish processing for the day.

When we determine that your account is overdrawn by a total amount of $5.00 or more, a $37 fee will apply to each withdrawal or order paid or returned. Daily maximum limited to five items. The types of withdrawals or Orders subject to an overdraft, NSF Return or UAF fee include negotiable orders of withdrawal, checks, substitute checks, electronified checks, “counter/in-person” withdrawals, drafts, ATM withdrawals, point of sale purchases, ACH withdrawals, online banking and telephone banking withdrawals, other orders, other items, and other withdrawals or transfer requests used to transfer or withdraw funds out of your Account by any means (subject to availability and any withdrawal limitations or penalties for your Account).
