The Washington Business Journal and Sandy Spring Bank Explore Diversity and Inclusion

Sandy Spring Bank From Here. For Here.

The Washington Business Journal (WBJ), in partnership with Sandy Spring Bank, recently held a roundtable discussion with several Prince George’s County business leaders about diversity and inclusion efforts. The discussion was a follow-up to the bank-sponsored State of Small Business survey, which examined the region’s economic conditions and challenges.

The benefits of the region’s diverse workforce, as well as ways to attract and retain employees and combat transportation challenges, were discussed during the roundtable. Dive deeper into the conversation in the February 14, 2020 issue of the WBJ

This roundtable follows one held last fall in Washington, D.C. that focused on talent acquisition and retention strategies. Read more from that discussion in the December 6, 2019 issue of the WBJ
