Q. How do I enroll for ebiz?
A. Please visit your community office to complete an application, or contact our Commercial Business Center at 866-867-1570.
Q. After completing my application, how long does it take to get my enrollment information?
A. Approximately one week.
Q. How far back does the account history go?
A. Your account history begins accumulating after you have enrolled in ebiz. The history stored is 90 days or 18 months depending on your level of service.
Q. Is bill pay free?
A. You can make up to 50 payments per month at no charge. Please refer to our Deposit Account Booklet for more details.
Q. I have an account I don’t currently access in ebiz. How do I add it?
A. You can click on “Customer Support, Contact Us” and send us a secure message. You can also visit any of our community offices and one of our bank representatives will submit your request.
Q. Can I pay my Federal Taxes using ebiz with ACH Services?
A. Once your enrollment with the http://www.eftps.gov Web site has been confirmed, you can setup to pay your Federal Taxes on ebiz.
Q. Can I transfer money both in and out of Sandy Spring to other financial institutions?
A. Yes, you can with our Interbank Transfer Service; part of ebiz with ACH Services. Once enrolled in this service, just click on the “Funds Transfer” option from the menu. To enroll in ebiz with ACH Services, you can visit any of our community offices or contact our Commercial Business Center at 866-867-1570.
Q. Can I pay my employees with direct deposit?
A. Yes, sign up for ebiz with ACH services and give your employees the added benefit of direct deposit. Plus, your employees can open a My Free Banking checking account with no minimum balance requirement and no monthly fee.
Q. How do I change the services I’m currently enrolled for?
A. You can add or remove services by completing an ebiz Status Change form. Please visit any of our community offices to complete a form, or contact our Commercial Business Center at 866-867-1570.
Q. What types of downloads do you support?
A. We support the following types of downloads: CSV (comma separated value), BAI, QuickBooks, Money and Quicken. Quicken download options are .qif. ebiz information can also be exported into an Adobe PDF. Q. I have more than one business, can I have just one login for ebiz?
A. Yes, you can have access to multiple companies within a single ebiz access and even perform ACH origination from them. Please speak with contact the Sandy Spring Client Support Center at 866-867-1570, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 8:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m.
Q. Can I give my accountant access to my accounts, without giving them the ability to perform transactions?
A. Yes, after logging on to ebiz, click “Administration” tab and click on the ” Add User” link to setup individuals with their own unique login. You entitle each user to the ebiz service(s) and account(s).
