Homeownership Month Spotlight: Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County

Sandy Spring Bank Presents $1,750 to Habitat For Humanity of Frederick

Since 1868, Sandy Spring Bank has been proud to serve families, businesses and communities across Maryland, Virginia and D.C. We strive to make our communities a better place to live, work and raise a family—both as a financial partner and through our community service.

In celebration of National Homeownership Month, the Mortgage Division at Sandy Spring Bank continues to recognize organizations who help families and individuals achieve homeownership.  As your hometown lender, all of our employees live and work in the local community.  All underwriting, processing and closing is performed in our offices--right in the communities we serve.  We personally know and understand the local market, so we’re better equipped to develop and implement unique programs that meet the specific needs of our community.

Recently, Hayley Becraft, Vice President and Mortgage Banker; and Cindy Palmer, Vice President and Commercial Team Leader in Frederick, visited Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County to acknowledge their impact in the housing space.  In addition to building affordable housing, Habitat serves local neighborhoods with an expanded array of products, services, and local partnerships that empower residents to revive their neighborhoods and enhance their quality of life.

Over the past couple years, Sandy Spring Bank employees have attended events, served in leadership roles on the board, and donated funds to help the organization provide homeownership solutions to Frederick County residents. Sandy Spring Bank looks forward to deepening their relationship with Habitat to bring more folks together to build homes, communities and hope.
