Noha joined Sandy Spring Bank as The Middle Market Team Leader in October 2022. Noha is part of our Corporate and Institutional Banking Division and is instrumental to the growth of the division over the next few years. Before joining SSB, Noha was an SVP within Truist’s Greater Washington Team helping Middle Market companies and Government Contractors with strategic advisory, general banking, treasury and financing solutions. She offered clients access to capital markets by partnering with a team of industry focused investment bankers helping companies raise capital, make acquisitions, improve financial operations, and grow or transition their business. Noha is a seasoned international banker with over 19 years of global and domestic experience working in the Middle East, Africa and USA. 

Noha studied Construction Engineering in the American University in Cairo, Egypt. Thereafter, she was hired by Citibank Egypt as part of the team that developed for the first time unsecured consumer & small business lending products as well as digital solutions for the Middle East. 

Noha spent 18 years with Citibank. She held several positions within Distribution, Financial Planning, Marketing, Branding, Project Management, Commercial Banking and Global Transactions Services. After successfully rolling out Citibank Egypt’s profitable distribution channels, she headed the Middle East and North Africa Projects management team handling projects in 9 countries. In 2003, she became a Branch Manager and Investment consultant until she relocated in 2005 to Washington DC to build Citi’s newly established Embassy, Government and Institutional Banking Group with a focus on Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). 

In 2010, Noha moved to Citibank’s Commercial Banking Team where she spent 7 years in DC and New York managing a robust portfolio of Commercial and Middle Market clients with a focus on Middle Market corporations with global footprint, global subsidiaries and non for profits with global operations and sophisticated treasury, cross border financing & banking needs. Noha moved back to Washington DC in 2017 as a Senior Relationship Manager with Bank of America’s Commercial Banking team and joined Truist in September 2019 before joining SSB in October 2022. 

Noha lives in Potomac Maryland with her 10 years old daughter. She enjoys traveling, volunteering, getting involved with non for profits, attending sporting events and spending time with her daughter. Noha is bilingual with fluency in Arabic.
